Kyle was kind enough to leave from Cleveland early to make it back to SoOh in time for our first First Friday. He and I both agree it was well worth his trip (as if it matters that I agree, he's the one that had to drive here)! We had a fantastic time. We didnt end up venturing further downtown but the events going on in the Oregon District were more than enough. The whole vibe was happy, fun and positive. There were rotating bands playing in front of Feathers, Press had a bustling art exhibition going on and all the shops were full of excited people. I even walked passed a group of people where a girl remarked "Dayton is really lively at night". So much Dayton pride! Everyone who was out seemed like they were in a good, jovial mood. On top of all this, I got to fill more of my bingo board seen above. I've updated it a bit by adding different colored symbols. The ohiogram (my name for my logos Ohio + Heart symbol) appears in these three ways:
Orange + 1 = Visited on First Friday
Outlined = Previously visited
Colored = Recently visited (not on First Friday)
I'll work on writing reviews for all the places for future posts.
