Go to Event: Haunfest - Dayton

Haunfest
Sat, October 29th 7:00 pm - 1:00 am
Oregon District
Fifth and Brown Sts.
Dayton, OH 45402

Fun fact..I will be volunteering for this! And yes, I know that sounds a bit dorky because when will I have time to party? Fortunately, I picked an early shift that ends before 9 pm so there will be much fun had during and after volunteering! And here is the whole paragraph (it was too good not to put the whole thing) from the website:

Put on your costume and head to Fifth Street in the Oregon Arts District for the region's largest and longest-running Halloween street party! Enjoy live music, food, drinks, costume contests and thousands of your closest friends! Most of the taverns in the District will waive their cover charges. Advance tickets can be purchased for $5 at select Oregon Arts District and other local businesses. $5 tickets also will be sold at the door until 10 p.m. - after 10:00, the entry price is $10. For more information or tickets, contact Dan Hapner at 937-657-4750 or at rosehapner@aol.com.

Price: see above in bold; 18 and older only
Location:Oregon District in Downtown Dayton
Building:Bars will be open. They have a strict 21 years old to enter policy
Parking: Very tricky! I recommend trying 3rd street maybe or the parking lot near the photography studio (I can not confirm if it will be free or available). No parking is being permitted in the Oregon District neighborhood (Thank zeus! Sorry but it's already a pain to get parking there on a regular evening and weekend)
Food: yes indeed! Food vendors and bar food
